Immortality

November 01, 2022
5:30pm

Boston University Professor of Astronomy Michael Mendillo, retired academic and novelist Larry Constantine , Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary Professor Sean McDonough
“The art of the Italian Renaissance produced some of the most  spectacular images of saints and sinners portrayed within realistic backgrounds, and as we shall see, the imagery of constellations emerged as a well-suited battleground for science, art and religion. My hope is that such stories enrich our appreciation of the link between our physical reality and the more humanistic and social views of our place in the universe.”  Michael Mendillo - In never giving up on being forever young in this world, Larry Constantine asks, “How can we explore immortality with advanced technology?” - While being forever young may actually become possible, Sean McDonough asks, “But how can we also explore immortality in the next world?”
