November 18, 2025, by invitation only, the Harvard Faculty Club will seat 102 faculty and grad-students and guests to consider presentations from MIT’s Robert R. Shrock Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Ben Weiss, Chair, Program in Planetary Science, and The Center for Astrophysics Harvard and Smithsonian’s  Howard Smith, Senior Astrophysicist, and Talbot School of Theology’s William L. Craig, Research Professor of Philosophy and President of Reasonable Faith. After these three make 15-minute presentations, we will devote 75 minutes over dinner at tables of six to discuss “Are there self-conscious creatures living on other planets elsewhere in the Universe and Why do we want to Know?”
